Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 March 2026
This website is operated by Cyber Impact Pty Ltd (ABN 15 694 162 257) as trustee for Whitehaven Trust. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Although small businesses with annual turnover under $3 million are generally exempt from the Privacy Act, we choose to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles because handling your data responsibly is the right thing to do — and because we are a cybersecurity firm.
What we collect
Contact form
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not used for marketing or any other purpose unless you explicitly opt in.
Website analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-6TNSSR8CMS) to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as page views, scroll depth, outbound clicks, session duration, browser type, screen resolution, and general geographic region. This data is used solely to improve the website — not for advertising or profiling. Google may process this data on servers outside Australia. See Google's privacy policy.
This site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal information. It provides only aggregate data about page views and traffic patterns. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cloudflare CDN and security
This website is served through Cloudflare's content delivery network (CDN). As part of standard web delivery and security protections (such as DDoS mitigation and bot management), Cloudflare may process technical data including your IP address, HTTP headers, and request metadata. This processing is performed by Cloudflare as a data processor on our behalf. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish between visitors and track browsing sessions. These are first-party cookies used only for analytics — not for advertising. No advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media trackers are used on this site. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone
- We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels
- We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers
- We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, political, or biometric data)
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for legitimate business purposes (responding to and following up on enquiries). Analytics data is retained according to Google's and Cloudflare's standard retention periods. We do not retain personal information longer than necessary.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
How to make a complaint
If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with this policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first. We take all complaints seriously and will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
